Small Businesses & Small Business Owners
Butwinick Law Office provides legal services to small business owners who have important, but less frequent, needs for business consultation than may be required by larger law firms.
Some of Jeff’s clients have a need for regular legal consultation, and others may only call a couple times a year to look over a contract or discuss the legal implications of various business strategies. In addition to his legal experience, Jeff holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management and has been a small business owner. He grew up in the Butwinick Furniture family, with small business being a part of his family for generations. Jeff focuses on working with his clients to find reasonable, practical, and strategic legal applications to varying business concerns.
You may want to contact Butwinick Law Office if:
- You need to implement or review a business-to-business contract
- You or a business partner has been named in a lawsuit
- You want to file a lawsuit
- You’d like to discuss legal strategies for business formations, operational obstacles, or interaction with governmental agencies
Small Businesses Bankruptcies
Butwinick Law Office provides legal consultation to small businesses who are considering bankruptcy and/or reorganization.
The majority of Jeff’s large-firm experience focused on large-scale corporate bankruptcies in California. While Jeff no longer takes on large-scale corporate bankruptcy filings, he does prepare answers, filings, and motions for clients who have a business relationship with other companies who are filing for bankruptcy.
Pursuant to 11 U.S.C. Section 528, “We are a debt relief agency.
We help people file for bankruptcy relief under the Bankruptcy Code.”
